CALL FOR TRUSTEES 2021
The later than usual date for our AGM means that the deadline for nominations for both Trustees and the position of President Elect is now 19 May 2021.
Your Society invites you to consider becoming a Trustee.
Like all organisations the EPS has adjusted to conducting the majority of Trustee meetings ‘virtually’ by ‘Zoom’ or ‘Teams’. This has made it easier for Trustees to participate irrespective of location. The further advantage of virtual meetings is that it is easier to form subject specific sub-committee meetings. The society is aware of members keen to participate but have been put-off for distance and travel concerns, to those members we ask you to think again. Looking ahead we expect that the majority of Trustee meetings will be online.
Want to know more? The best way is to call one of the Trustees and have a chat. There are 12 Trustees each serving 4 years, with 3 retiring each year. With a trend towards flexible working, the Trustees hope that this enables younger members to be able to put themselves forward for the 3 spaces available this year. Their details can be found here
Nomination forms are available from the Secretary and should be returned, duly completed by 19 May 2021
