The General Meeting will as always take place on the first Wednesday in May (1st May) and the paperwork will be circulated at the end of March/beginning of April. Once again, three Trustees will be stepping down from the Committee and another three Trustees will need to be appointed. We need members to come forward as Trustees – it is particularly useful if you are able to bring a special skill to the Committee – solicitors, accountants, individuals with PR experience, investment advisers, vets – do give consideration as to whether or not you are able to give up four days of your time to attend meetings (occasionally meetings are more frequent) and some time to reading minutes and agenda and answering emails when necessary to help your Society.
Remember you must be a member of the Society and have voting rights to become a Trustee.
