Annual September Mountain & Moorland Show 2025 celebrates a day of family fun and equestrian excellence 

The much-anticipated September Mountain & Moorland Show 2025, hosted by the Scottish Area Exmoor Pony Society, took place on Sunday at Inchcoonans Equestrian, near Errol, Perth and Kinross, Scotland The event, a highlight in the local equestrian calendar, showcased a broad range of classes for all registered Mountain and Moorland (M&M) ponies and proudly incorporated the Scottish Area Exmoor Pony Show, drawing participants and families from across the region.The event is affiliated with the Highland Pony Society and serves as a qualifier for the Caledonian Showing Championships.

The day was bustling with excitement and family-friendly activities, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for attendees of all ages.

Special recognition

Remy Wishart delivered a standout performance aboard her Exmoor pony, Achray. She was awarded:

Champion Junior Working Hunter Pony
Reserve Open Working Hunter M&M Small Breeds
Champion Exmoor Working Hunter Pony

Notably, Remy’s younger sister, Georgie Wishart, also excelled in the Lead Rein class riding Achray, securing 2nd place overall and Best Exmoor. Both sisters returned home proudly with silverware, marking a memorable day for their family.

For Caitlin Macleod & Coedywern Woodbine, this was their first season competing together – coming 2nd in the junior working Hunter, 2nd in the 50cm working Hunter. Congratulations to Jemma Christie & Wensley Monarch, photographed, 1st 50cm Small Breeds, 1st 60cm Small Breeds, Small Breeds WHP champion and Reserve Supreme WHP.
